Salidroside powder is extracted from the root or rhizome of Rhodiola Rosea, which is a perennial flowering plant in the family Crassulaceae. Salidroside powder is usually used in health care products.

Rhodiola rosea extract is natural from the root of Rhodiola rosea. The main ingredients are salidroside, rosavin and Rosavins. And there are 2 varieties of Rhodiola, Rhodiola crenulata and Rosa roseola.Rhodiola crenulata can only extract one main ingredients: salidroside, and Rosa roseola can extract both rosavins and salidroside.

Rhodiola (scientific name: Rhodiola rosea l.), alias: rhodiola rosea, and luomabuer (Tibetan); is a perennial herb, 10-20 cm high. Stout, conical, fleshy, brownish-yellow, the root neck with numerous fibrous roots, Rhizome short, rough-shaped, cylindrical, most imbricate scales like leaves. Rhodiola is widely used for medical purposes.

Salidroside is typically considered an “adaptogen” and is believed to invigorate the body and mind to increase resistance to stresses. The key active constituents in Rhodiola are believed to be rosavin, rosin and salidroside.

Application

Salidroside applied to skin cancer and bowen's disease, psoriasis, male urethral condyloma and other skin diseases.
